Turku Christian Institute was founded in 1925. Today it is one of the biggest folk high schools in Finland. The Institute operates in the spirit of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church. Central values are person-orientation, friendship, and tolerance.
The Institute has two main functions. The first one is long-term general and vocational education, which attracts annually about 600 full-day students. The second one is conference hotel Linnasmäki. About 20000 people attend congresses and seminars at the Institute annually. Several international events are organized regularly.
